I LOVE this one Meghan! I have been thinking a lot about the concepts of attention and patience lately; only recently uncovering that where I place my attention affects my judgements and consequently my sense of well-being. Also - eating candy like a Swede is just as good as it sounds :) <3
Being intentional with your attention (not a pun!) sounds like a virtue worth pursuing. I always find that the more attention I give to whatever I'm doing, and the more mindful I am, the more peaceful I feel. just taking time to notice the things you're noticing is quite profound!
Great post Meghan. I also endeavor to live a more curious life. Your post made me think that maybe one of the kindest things we can do for others is to see them as whole beings, rather than through a lens of how they affected us. Hold space for other people and live a life of grace, right?

I loved your takeaway, Vikesh—seeing someone as a whole being is an act of kindness—both for ourselves and for the other person!
